(6 oz) sugar (I use less)

chopped walnuts

(8oz) wholemeal flour
Method
Pour
water over fruit and soda. Add sugar and butter and stir until melted. Add
remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake slowly for 55-60 mins @ 160C. (or less
if using small tins). Serve cold sliced and spread with butter..
